Miller Brewing Company was established in 1855. Its headquarters and main brewery are still located on the land where its founder, Frederick Miller, began it all. But, as Miller beers grew in popularity, so did the need to expand. And expand it did. Miller began building new breweries in locations across the U.S. in the late 1960s, and now has breweries producing over 50 brands of beer across the U.S.

When Frederick Miller brewed his first barrel of beer in America in 1855, he spoke passionately about “Quality, Uncompromising and Unchanging.” It became his slogan, his vision, his mission for the company. The statement lived then as now in the dedicated commitment of employees.

The Eden Brewery was the first brewery to produce Miller Genuine Draft in 1986. This state-of-the-art brewery is located in a small, friendly community near Greensboro, North Carolina, where more than 750 employees work.

This site is Miller’s newest, state-of-the-art brewery. Located between Cincinnati and Dayton, the Trenton Brewery is the largest brewery in Ohio, with nearly 650 employees.

Miller Brewing Co.’s Milwaukee Brewery still sits on the original land purchased by Frederick J. Miller in 1855. This land now houses its corporate headquarters, as well. The brewery’s original site has more than 950 employees.

Facilities are located in 27 countries around the world.The Newark site serves CMP Technologies business of the Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials Division. Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials develops and manufactures products used for chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) and are used in the fabrication of almost every type of electronic chip made today. CMP is the process used to create the flawless surfaces required to make faster and more powerful integrated circuits and electronic substrates semiconductors. Products include polishing pads, pad conditioners, slurries, reactive chemical solutions, carrier films and template assemblies. The Newark site operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week with 750 employees in 15 buildings of the Diamond State Industrial Park.

US Tire Plant Launches MDW   

On August 19, 2010 the Continental Tire facility located in Mt. Vernon, Illinois launched the Mission-Directed Work Teams Program (MDW) as part of their Continental Tire Manufacturing System. There are approximately 2500 employees presently working at this Mt. Vernon site.
